Correction needed.. Pocket Battleships were the Deutschland class which included the Deutschland (renamed Lutzow) the Admiral Graff Spee and the Admiral Scheer which all displaced 10000 tons. The Scharnhorst and Gneissau where somewhat bigger vessels, classed as Battleships which displaced upto 38000 tons. The Bismark and its sister ship Turpitz where bigger again displacing over 50000 tons fully loaded. Had the three commonwealth cruisers encountered one of the battleships it would have been a different story...
