Lloyd Hopkins, a hard-boiled American police detective is on the trail of a mass murderer who is victimizing women in Los Angeles. The pursuit leads him through a world that has become his own natural habitat - a nasty world of crime, drugs, prostitution and male hustlers where "innocence kills" and continued exposure corrupts. Paradoxically, it's also a world of love, secret admirers, romantic feminist poets and modern chivalry. And for the viewer, it's the background for an exciting, suspense movie.

Muppet Babies - Season Five

Genres: Family, Animation

Starring: Russi Taylor, Greg Berg, Laurie O'Brien

Directors: Jim Henson

Country: USA

Year: 1988

IMDB Rating: 7.8

Although the program was a cartoon, live-action film sequences were added in unusual moments. When the babies opened a door, box or book, they were often confronted with anything from a speeding train to a space ship. Foreign landscapes in their imagination were usually photos or bits of stock footage which the babies would walk across, interacting indirectly with the film’s actors. Though much of the live-action came from stock footage and old black-and-white horror/monster films, more recent films such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and Indiana Jones were also played and parodied.

Empire State is an amazing film,as the trailer saya it's a 'night on theedge'...it certainly is.The film is set in London's Docklands and is one ofthe best 1980's club movies around. It's a real shame the film didn't get abig release...We follow the lives of very different characters arond onenight at the 'Empire State' club.Don't be put off by the fact that the filmhas a (sort of)gay theme, there's nothing too kinky.I think that it is bestwatched in summer, because the settings are just right, the stylish directionis great and the songs are perfect.Watch this movie and see what you'vemissed in the way of a great crime/drama/thriller film...

A Bit of Fry and Laurie - Season Two

Genres: Comedy

Country: UK

Year: 1988

The programme was a sketch show. As in The Two Ronnies, elaborate wordplay and innuendo were staples of its material. It frequently broke the fourth wall; characters would revert into their real-life actors mid-sketch, or the camera would often pan off set into the studio. In addition, the show was punctuated with non-sequitur vox pops in a similar style to those of Monty Python's Flying Circus, often making irrelevant statements, heavily based on wordplay. Laurie was also seen playing piano and a wide variety of other instruments and singing comical numbers.
