A house full of ups and downs!!
HOUSEFULL 2 (Movie Review)ONE LINER:A house full of ups and downs.EXPECTATIONS:SAJID KHAN directing the second movie of Housfull franchise alwayscreated a great hype as people enjoyed housefull a lot, so more fun wasexpected in this outing as with a huge star cast.STORY & SCRIPT:Story of the movie was good . But the script was above average. Itcould have been much better which would had made it a more funentertainer.DIRECTION:SAJID KHAN after giving a very good HEYY BABY and a good HOUSEFULL withpoor climax, now here he had a great chance to make a evergreenentertainer, in which he fails.. Although it is quite a niceentertainer but the direction could have been much better. few scenesare very well directed. Still HEYY BABY is his best direction.MUSIC:Music by SAJID WAJID for HOUSEFULL2 was a surprise inspite of a goodmusical scores in HB & HF by S-E-L. Music is totally average.. not asingle song in awesome.. all the songs are just OK. We can say that themusic of HOUSEFULL 2 by SAJID WAJID is a average attempt. It could havebeen better than this.. Though songs are nicely picturised. Backgroundscore is also average.CASTING & ACTING:AKSHAY KUMAR is the best of the lot as his comic timings are superb andhe makes u laugh hard at moments. JOHN ABRAHAM has tried it hard for comedy caper this time and he hasdone a good job overall although he goes over at places.RITESH DESHMUKH and SHREYAS TALPADE comes as secondary to both of theabove and they have done a good job.In heroines ASIN is better amongst all . Heroines didn't had much to doas they were there for support of hearoes to act. ZARINE KHAN didn'tsuited at all with RITESH . overall casting of heroines was not sogood. JACQUELINE and SHAHZAHN had good screen presence, nothing more.Now the Seniors RISHI & RANDHIR KAPOOR are good and both share a greatfighting chemistry on screen. MITHUN is good too. BOMAN IRANI gets aminimal role. he is OK.CHUNKEY PANDEY as a surprise is total fun after HOUSEFULL. JOHNNY LEVERvery good and funny. MALAIKA did a great job in ANARKALI and her act.VINDU was irritating.PLUSSES & MINUSES:PLUSSES:1. AKSHAY KUMAR comic timings.2. AKSHAY KUMAR scenes with MITHUN are just too good.3. The best sccene of the movie is which is with crocodile and thepython. It was a great fun scene.4. CHUNKEY PANDEY scenes.5. Few other quite entertaining scenes.6. Fights were nice.MINUSSES:1. The unwanted forcely made emotion scenes which were not required atall.2. The ups and downs in entire movie. When u start enjoying the scenesthe next scene becomes Average and when movie goes in a average runsuddenly a great fun scene somes.3. Mis casting of heroines. 4. Vindu's scenes were the worst although the fight scene was good.5. Music could have been better than this.CONCLUSION:Overall a very good time pass and a nice entertaining film with fewvery funny scenes where u laugh like anything.. A good Entertainer. ifu wana relax and enjoy a movie go for it.RATINGS: 3/5.

What an ENTERTAINER!!!
Housefull 2 , as the title says , theaters were also Housefull. Peoplewere coming out laughing , few were on the floor holding their stomach.And i , was waiting there thinking - "oh my god , let me in fast ." So the plot is like this - "Housefull 2 opens in London with a siblingrivalry between Daboo Randhir Kapoor who is a impermissible but given apart of his father's business and Chintu Rishi Kapoor who is bitterlyresentful.This bitterness seeps across the house as Chintu's daughterHeena Asin Thottumkal and Daboo's daughter Bobbie Jacqueline Fernandezat each others throats.Each brother wants to marry his daughter toTycoon JD's Mithun Chakraborty son Jolly Ritesh Deshmukh who is in lovewith full-figured model JLo Zarine Khan but is too terrified to tellhis daddy, who is striding across his English castle in a starcheddhoti, a tycoon who smiles frostily only at Vishwas Patil Johnny Lever.Marriage fixer Aakhri Pasta Chunky Pandey brings an eligible match toChintu, but playing a vinegary uncle with tang, Kapoor insults thefather - with offensive 'African jokes' - landing him in hospital. A Jolly entertainer
Saw Housefull 2 today......Yesterday called up my friend who told methat its a good entertainer.....But i still had my doubts as he is anAkshay fan and also i am not very fond of Bollywood comedies but stilli decided to go as i found Housefull 1 a watchable/good one except theclimax...so I ended up in the theaterFirst 10-15 minutes was just OK.....heroines were annoying.....justmade me think that i made a bad decision.....thats when Male actorscame up.....Ritesh Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade who introduced the mainlead actors..John and Akshay.....from then on the movie turned to acompletely new level.....from Then on,It was a complete laugh riot,acomplete entertainer......no need to look for logic and all......Thefilm gave what i expected.....even more than i expected....In theend,it was worth the money....A jolly entertainer..The plot revolves around Jolly(Ritesh Deshmukh),The son of amillionaire JD(Mithun Chakrvarthy)..2 cousin brothers Chintu(RishiKapoor) and Dapoo(Randhir Kapoor) competing each other for a bettergroom for their daughters......of course They are enemies most of thetime......Both of them want Jolly to be their Daughter's groom....Atthe same time,Jai(Shreyas Talpade)whose father has been hospitalized byChintu's shouting(he as a heart patient) with his friend Jolly's helparrange 2 fake jollies for both Chintu and Dapoo as arevenge.....Max(John Abraham) and Sunny(Akshay Kumar) enters......thenthe fun begins...There is also a cameo by Boman Irani as JD's friendBatuk PatelAkshay steals the show with his perfect comic timing and oneliners.....his expressions were awesome considering his recentflicks....In the last few years,The only Akshay film i liked wasHousefull....also liked Desi boys in parts but ended up as anaverage-below average one......But in this movie he reallyrocked.....superbJohn looked great with his muscles and all.....performance wasOK...nothing great.......excelled in some scenes...Ritesh was boring at the start but then he did well......genuinelyfunny...he was cool when imitating Salman from Bodyguard... ShreyasTalpade was OK.....did not have much to do..... Ranjeet the rapist in acameo was awesome in the scene in the end credits with Akshay andAsin.........The Crowd(including me)really enjoyed that scene....hugeclaps for that scene..... Another actor who did a fantastic job wasMithun Chakravarthy.....great performance....Boman Irani was OK in thecameo but did not have much of good comic numbers........his usualenergy was missing in this film....particularly because his role wasshort....Johny Lever was funny in the climax and also in the middleportionsAs for the heroines......they did not have much to do other than tolook pretty in their minimal clothes.......their acting was annoying atthe start but then on they were OK......Asin and Jaqueline had moreimportance....other two appeared and disappeared throughout thefilm.....and reappeared in climax though...Kudos to the screenplay,Dialogues and direction........Some of the oneliners were simply awesome......Direction was good considering it a 2and a half hour movie and it did not drag for even a singleminute.......expecting house full 3.....In the Box office,It will be nothing short of a blockbuster....Thecrowd response proved that they enjoyed it....it is a perfectentertainer for the season....looking forward to watching itagain.....My rating is 7.5/10 but since that rating is not availablehere,I am going with 8....go for itMy verdict:A Jolly entertainer......entertainment guaranteed

A Good entertaining comedy, a very good option over the weekend..
The story of Housefull 2,by Sajid Nadiadwala, is entertaining and givesa lot of scope for comedy. The screenplay capitalizes on this andcreates many situations where the audience finds itself laughing outloud.the audience is engaged as the drama moves at a swift pace.Several sub-plots in the screenplay like Max and Sunny's enmity; thesecret behind JD's real identity; JD and Batook Patel's (Boman Irani)friendship also provide for ample doses of entertainment. The dramatakes a real good turn in the second half, when all the characterssomehow land up in JD's palatial mansion. Here, Sunny improvises by thesecond to make sure that he and the other boys get the girls they wantto be with. Even as this is happening, Patil (Johny Lever), anassociate of JD's, is so flummoxed that the audience is in splits overhis poor condition. To their credit, the screenplay writers have madesure that in spite of the confusion in the drama, the viewer is neverconfused. The tracks of two brothers (Chintu and Daboo), two friends(Max and Sunny) being reunited, will appeal to the family audiences.The dialog's, written by Sajid-Farhad, are very good for the most part.All the stars have performed really well, Akshay was really good and sowere Ritesh and John. The whole point here is to keep you entertainedfor the film's 150 minute odd duration and Sajid Khan does exactlythat. Filled with hilarious sequences, right from Akshay Kumar'sintroduction to the last wedding scene, Housefull 2 delivers unlimitedlaughs. The story and the situations that the characters findthemselves in, has plenty of scope for comedy and Sajid Khan exploitsit to the fullest. While some scenes like those involving the crocodileand snake, were way too over-the-top, action scenes seem to have beenforced in. This film for sure will end the series of flop film's forAkshay Kumar.

Housefull 2-Must watch don't go for the lame reviews
Well Before i left for the movie,I did check out the reviews.WhichSummarized Stay away from the movie,Its sucks.Don't go with thatreview. Believe Me the movie is good.Paisa Wasool. Of-course,For peoplewho say it sucks.Keep your Brains in your pocket and go to thismovie.Just to Enjoy. What film makes the whole Theater Laugh like theynever have??This Movie did(This Movie did after a gap of 1 year of lamemovies like tees mar khan etc). Well Before the Interval i say you willnot stop laughing,You might be scared even to eat some popcorn.Wellafter the interval.,.It is little bit bragged,And it might even lead toconfusion to some people.But still there some good hearty laughs in thesecond half. They Do have some 1-2 silly/lame jokes. But overall i saygo For it.Don't Miss this Movie This is One Great Comedy movie After awhole 1 year

An overall good entertainer
Wouldn't quite go as far as some people giving it 9 and 10, butcertainly wouldn't say it's as bad as the first Houseful - that wasawful! this film had a much better star cast, and a proper story line.It does get very confusing, but the comedy throughout keeps the filmgoing, however I feel it could have been trimmed down by 20 mins or so.Rishi Kapoor is first rate throughout the film as is Akshay Kumar. Thisis one of his best performances in a long time. Shreyas and Riteish arefine in their roles, but John for me doesn't suit his role. Out of theladies, Asin does well, Jacqueline doesn't get much dialogue scope butlooks gorgeous on scree, while Zarine and Shazan do a decent job intheir smallish roles. Now to the dads, I've mentioned Rishi being theshow stealer, Mithun is quality in his serious image, Randhir is overthe top and Boman is too funny!Overall the two Sajid's have done pretty well.

Jolly Bad
Sajid Khan should try his luck in Las Angeles. He made an Above Averagewhich turned out to be a Block Buster than came Housefull which wasplain average but again a block buster. Now with housefull 2 his wishto make disgusting movie is fulfilled. But again a super hitThis is the most confusing movie ever in world cinema. It makes acomplete mockery of cinema. Their is no plot in the movie to discuss,but again this a brainless comedy. Now is this a comedy movie. Itdoesn't make you laugh in fact it is an acid test for your funny bone.If someone can laugh in this movie than he should not watch greatcomedy or he will die laughing. Performance wise Akshay did the great job but lines are so bad that hewon't make you laugh. John is not good at comedy but he tried his best.Ritesh is as he is. Shreyas is a good actor and he deserve better role.Pity here is that Rishi Kapoor who has just given an outstanding DoDooni Chaar and Agneepath is given a worst character to play. RandhirKapoor is an average actor but again his character is similar toRishi's. Mithun is brilliant but he is not their to make you laugh.Boman has 10mins role. Sorry but no need to tell about actresses. I wonder when will Sajid deliver flop as I want him to come back tohosting shows. But no time soon as he is delivering blockbusters. Thismovie is no better than some c grade comedies like Buddha mar Gaya orChatur Singh.

Full of stars and flaws..
I've always seen Sajid Khan shout out in interviews that he does notmake movies for critics. I respect that. I feel every fimmaker shouldmake a film that pleases them and the audience and not for reviews.However, that does not mean they should take their audience forgranted. Sajid does just that in this flick. I wasn't a huge fan ofHousefull but still I found it enjoyable. I walked in the theatersexpecting just a normal entertainer and what I get from this film is alot of unanswered question.Why exactly do the Kapoors even hate eachtother? How is that Akki-John,Asin-Jaquelin become friends again that quick? How do people not knowMithun's past despite him being one of the riches people of the UK? Andthat too in this high technology wikipedia-google age? Why does Johncontinue trying to con Randhir Kapoor if he wasn't the one they weresuppose to con? The story is intended to confuse the viewer. That is okay but it's veryflawed. Mithun all the sudden turning into a goon again is ridiculous! I mean,are we idiots? I feel Sajid needs to go past these done to death identity confusionmovies. David Dhawan and Priyadarshan have mastered this. I do feelSajid is better than this. He showed that in his first film Heyy Babby.Writing is weak. Music is alright. Papa toh band bajaye is good. His direction is good but needs work on script. Dialogue is first rate,however. A lot of questions come and go unanswered. That is the writingat fault. Sajid needs to do films with a plot instead of this crap.Heyy Babby still remains his best film.Akshay Kumar is good. Still, his comedy is just not the same anymore.John is good. Ritesh is alrite. Shreyas is okay. Randhir, Rishi and Mithun are great actors and do their job but neededbetter roles.Asin is wasted. Rest are okay.Overall - A disappointment that is a decent pass time but still is theworst of Sajid's films.

Excellent Movie!
Yaar What a movie. This is the best movie of 2012. My Stomach is paindue to I Laugh Very much during the movie. Akshay's acting is justGREAT. Then comes, JOHN ABRAHAM - never seen him doing this type ofROLE before, I must say he is very talented! There comes Ritesh andShreyas - they did marvelous job for small period of time :D Femaleactors supported a lot for this movie and again they rocked the movietoo :D Rishi and Randhir kapoor were total-funpack-brothers in thismovie, the nonsense they made, they did and they do are like JUST TOOENTERTAINING! Here comes, Ranjeet sir who just took movie to a newlevel in just small ROLE.. Yes thats right! Short ROLE! But the best :DStory is well written, direction is perfect for bolly-comedy-movies,songs are catchy, casting is PERFECT and locations were unbelievable!GREAT CHOICE :D I missed Aakhri pasta (Chunky Pandey) a looot in thismovie! His role was just for short period of time :(

thanks to my laptop that i din't wasted ma money on Housefull 2...it doesn't worth big screen.... i still din't get whether movie wasserious ,sad,funny,romantic,action or a thriller...actresses used frskin show... actors acted like we r kids an will laugh by their awfulactions... movie needs some sort of story dude...how come u fool housewith your Housefull... its sad that because of this crap more movieswill follow the formula of no story movie like after daubing series offunny action movies was startd....an we were gifted by singham,bodyguard etc etc...in short the good thing i movie was the use ofcolors...feeling pity for the people who liked the movie...... skipit!!!

Best movie of 2012 and one of the best comedy movies ever in Bollywood
Absolutely brilliant movie !. Hats off to Sajid Khan. A job well done.10 out of 10.Go watch the movie guys and ignore the negative reviews. Those who aregiving a negative review have a personal agenda against the crew.Believe me guys I just watched the movie and it is MIND BLOWINGCOMEDY!!!!.Review: Akshay Kumar : Truly the best. No Brains, simply out and out entertainment...
Houseful 2 Â CATCH IT (B+) Houseful is an out and out entertainment,the story and situations are not jell well together but still itmanages to make your roll on floor laughing. Akshay Kumar finally inhis best foam after 3 years of disastrous movies & performances. JohnAbraham, Reitesh & Sheryas are hilarious and their timing with Akshayis perfect. Asin and Jacqueline are the main lead and looked gorgeousalong with Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee. Mithun, Rishi and RandhirKapoor & Boman Irani were perfect. All the girls and boys have terrificchemistry and looked great together. Songs and cinematography isrefreshing. Overall great entertainment but mistakes in story andscreenplay are apparent.

A letter to Sajid Khan (The director)
Sajid Bhai, I was expecting the movie to be bad becoz I had themisfortune of watching one of your earlier movies. But believe me, evengoing prepared did not help.I sincerely wish to know. Do you assume your audience to dumb? Thecomedy is so loud that even if I were 10, I wouldn't laugh at the sillyantics. There is not an ounce of intelligence in the entire movie. Eventhe shaky van scene (copied from, the silent movie) was so badly done.The plot was so lame. The dialogues worn out. The comedy Ultra loud. The audience today has matured. People like to see films like bhejafry. Here are some suggestions: 1) Hire a genuine writer who can comeup with a good story. Half your movie is taken care of. 2) Cut out theloud comedy. Make sure people more than 10 yrs of age can watch. 3)Have someone write intelligent dialogues.I am not from film industry, but I am sure if I make a movie, it willdefinitely be better than housefull of crap.Lastly, I recall, I remember watching you on the telly. You had a goodsense of humor. I cannot accept this from you.

Worst Movie of a Lifetime
Rotten tomatoes would had been a better option than Housefull 2.If Housefull was crap then Housefull 2 is a crap train.Its full of isolated non sense stuff that transcends the requirement ofa filmmaking.Nowadays producers know a secret formula....Skinshow and India's everincreasing population. They know that India is such as place wherethere would never be any investment for hockey fields bu rather a wholelot of money will be thrown away to set up multiplexes to welcomemovies like Houseful 2 & Players.Even though its way short of everything except non sense India is thatcountry who would even stampede in order to run to theaters and get anearly seat to watch these movies.I would go for N/10 - Non Sense

Idotic, Mindless, Stupid, Pathetic
The filthy frontbenchers are rejoicing and the maggot journalists aregiving a five star rating since this movie is right up their alley.Give a diamond to a monkey it wouldn't know what to do with it. This isthe case of giving money to bunch of no talent nerds who have no clueabout making a movie. It tales a genuine no talent to come up with amovie like this. Only thing they are well versed are fart jokes andtoilet humor like the 'Delhi Belly" and "Three Idiots" starring thesame brain dead actors like Sajjid Khan, Johnny Lever, Shriyas Talpade,John Abraham etc. and assorted idiotic actresses who can't walk andtalk at the same time. The idiotic and imbecile producer and thedirector is a braindead morons. The dialogs were written by six yearold going on seven whose only credit is watching animation movies andhas written his first script on a slate. How did Hindi Film Industryend up with these bums?

pathetic!! that's the word and you will know why when you will see it.same old bollywood story,cheesy lines and item numbers. with hugestarcast they may have believed to do good business but plot itself isso pathetic and unrealistic that even the starcast wont help. actingperformances are poor and most actress had little or no scope foracting. they should work more on content of the film than wasting moneyon starcast and shooting locations. this is another akshay kumar'swannabe comedy movie.he should be proud of making a record of so calledcomic movies.I couldn't wait till interval let alone till the end of movie.

A Pretty Mindless Comedy
I hated house full n the only reason for watching this movie was freetickets and a weekend on which i had nothing interesting to do.. whereshould i start..?? the movie has no plot..it looks like the sajidkhan's idea of a plot is to just fill the screen with many people andask them to shout at their top of the voice.. as the movie says the socalled "Dirty Dozens" aren't impressive at all.. rishi kapoor after ariveting performance in Agneepath disappoints by doing such a sillyrole..and the worse acting belonged to john abraham.. his cheesy oneliners were pathetic..someone has to say to him he isn't good atcomedy..while akshay was good in parts and the other two werepassable..coming to the actresses, they had less to do with acting butmore with skin show.. they were only two positives of this film chunkypandey and the veteran johnny lever.. a lame movie that doesn'tdeserves to be watched on big screen..

Funny but not too great
Sajid Khan the jerk on TV and the big mouth is back with his thirddirectorial venture HOUSEFULL 2 which is a sequel of his last filmHOUSEFULL(2010) which was a surprise hit when Akki's career was goingdownhill The film returns Akshay, Ritiesh, Boman, Randhir Kapoor and adds in themayhem Mithun, Johny Lever, John Abraham, Rishi and Shreyas and alsobrings back Chunky Pandey the only person reprising his character fromthe original. The heroines too are changed here, Instead of Lara,Deepika who hammed in the original we have Asin, Jacqueline, ZarineKhan and Shazahn Padamsee who are not better One forgets theirindividuality as barring Asin most of them frown, scream .etcThe movie has a complicated plot as usual and there are several funnyportions The film starts off well, The warring families and theirbickering is funny and also Ritiesh and John portions followed byAkki's intro Akki- John enimeity which goes back to their college daysand then when they return is also good, Sajid Khan after the success ofFORCE also adds some more desi action which seems forced The comedyhowever also is overdone too badly, Sajid Khan has a fixation withanimals, In the original we had Akki bring a pet as a Lion here we havecrocodiles and phyton as pets and both animals do harm to characters,The crocodile bites Ritiesh's anus while the phyton bites Shreya'scrotch. Many comedy scenes are overdone, loud and stretched as alwayswith Sajid Khan's movies The second half has some better comedy withthe entire confusion in Mithun's bungalow however stupid it seemsMithun's flashback showing him as a daaku too seems stupid but is funnyAkshay's constant rolling of his tongue seems funny but gets tiring attimes and looks far fetched One wishes there was more of Ranjit'scharacter which is called RANJEET V.ASNA K PUJARI The original ended inBirguimham palace with a laughter gas bringing in laughs from thecharacters if not from the audience with the queen saying JAIMAHARASHTRA. Here we have Prince Charles thrown in the wedding mayhemwhere the reformed Daaku goes back to his past appearance and goesabout shooting all Direction by Sajid Khan is non-existent mostlythough some scenes are funny but he should change his style and stopmaking actors jokers Music is decent, Akshay Kumar with his ayeee style and his usual comedy does bring insome laughs, His chemistry with John, Ritiesh is superb John Abraham isseen unshaven in some portions after a long time, while he tries veryhard to be funny he goes way over the top mostly but yet a good effort.His chemistry with Akki with whom he recently shared space in DESI BOYZis good Ritiesh fresh after the moderate success of TLHG which was hissolo film is back with his sidekick turn but does a good job Shreyas isfunny too Mithun is superb as Jagga Daaku turned JD while Boman Iraniin a shorter role is similar like in the original Johny Lever is funnyas usual while Ranjeet is superb in a cameo Asin is better then the lotand does a good job Jacequeline is loud and doesn't really fit wellwhile the other 2 heroines are forgotten Chunky Pandey is funny withhis AAKHREE PAASTA character Both the kapoor brothers literally competewith loud performances with a Raj Kapoor background score playing inslyly Rishi back after the superb job in AGNEEPATH here hams it up withloud dialogues mostly paraphrases of dogs Randhir Kapoor playing hisstep brother is loud too

Better than the first one, but still just "okay".
Housefull 2 contains a great cast, some funny jokes, below averagestoryline and overall an average cinematography.Don't expect too much of this movie, since you'll be disappointed, butif you go with a clear mind, you might even like it. The songs are above average, but I liked the songs from Housefull 1better and that actually saved the first one. I also loved the action scenes, however *spoiler* John Abraham holdinga whole pool table by himself seems a little bit unrealistic!So overall a kind of funny movie with average songs, but a great castwhich actually saved the movie.
