Listed online as a DVD, but it was a VHS

I was very unsatisfied with this purchase. When I questioned the seller, I was told I looked at it wrong because all she had were VHS'. Then I got an email a few days later saying oh I did have it listed as a DVD. Sorry. Will not purchase anything from this seller again.

NINJA... NINJA... RAP!

I'm 19, and I grew up with these movies. Yes, they are pretty bad by most of today's standards, but damn... these movies kick ass. If you were a kid in the late 80's, or early 90's, then you are OBLIGATED to get this set... or you suck.

Not a bad film, not the best either

Well, I think that the 3rd entry is not that bad. I mean, it at leasthad them doing martial arts in Japan. I mean, I guess it could have hadthem doing yoga at a temple. I do think they should have tried to payJudith Hoag whatever they wanted to get her to reprise April in thisand II, because she made a better April O'Neill. I think they needed toalso have Elias Koteas as Casey from the first. Have him going back toJapan with them. If all else, should have followed this up to a directsequel to II, having Master Tatsu as the leader of the foot and themgetting revenge on the turtles for getting rid of shredder, and bringback Danny and Kino as friends. Then one of them wonders should he bepart of the foot or aligned with the Turtles. What I really hate isStuart Wilson's outlandish accent, and if that's his real voice, getssome halls cough drops.Either way, see it as what not to do. Although, the ZZ Top wasn't a badtouch

Radical

This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Three Pack (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III) (DVD) Exactly what I expected, all three delicious movies from the good ol' days, well 3 isn't that delicious, but it's OK. Awesome to have all 3 in one box!

UK Titles

The reason there are no white specks on the end titles of the UKrelease of this film is due to me.I coloured them all out using a black marker when I worked for CapitalFX in 1993.Capital FX was a small special effects and titling company in a squarein Soho. They also did the fire sequence on the end titles of the TVseries London's Burning. I was introduced to the man who made Supermanfly.I would run around Soho picking up and delivering films to and from thevarious companies involved, Warner Bros, etc. with a mobile phone andan account at the sandwich shop and to studios in Perivale.--- by Jerome, computer coder, author, and voter of 1,000 films.

This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Three Pack (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III) (DVD) I grew up watching these movies and couldn't resist a good deal on them. Shipped quick and got exactly what I ordered.

My kid will love the original's

This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Three Pack (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III) (DVD) Because I did when I was his age, and I will not stand by and let Michael Bay ruin this for him/me.Even if I can't stop him from seeing Michael Bay's abortion of a movie, at least I can have peace of mind that he knows how it was meant to be. From that point forward, he can decide.

Not as good of the first two

People come down hard on this movie and I don't know why. I mean it could've been worse. Still some things do hurt the film. Casey Jones plays a small role in this film (though all his scenes are very funny), and again a different April is showcased in this film. It's not the best ending to a trilogy, but hey it's better than not having a third film at all.

T-U-R-T-L-E POWER

Sure, we're talking late 80's early 90's. Sure, we're talking about ninja turtles that eat pizza like healthy people should be drinking water, but that doesn't change the fact that these movies are totally awesome. This is totally worth the buy, especially if you were a turtles fan growing up (and if you are in your mid 20s and are not at turtles fan, you may take a long walk off a short pier j/k).On to the actual movies.Turtles 1:The best of the series, which is standard. . .you get a small glimps into the history of our heros (even if the idea of a normal rat learning ninjitsu is a bit far fetched) the acting is passionate, you get action, emotion, brotherly love and bitter rivalry, and many good ethereal lessons in life. IMHO, still one of the best movies I have ever seen. The movie introduces the foot clan and shredder.Turtles 2: Secret of the OozeOk, not quite as cool as the first, but still totally awesome. More humor, less action, more humor, new mutants, more humor, deeper back history, and more humor. Honestly, it's a fun flick, well worth the watch, and as many have already said, Vanilla Ice's best song yet. . . Ninja Rap GO NINJA GO NINJA GO NINJA GO!Turtles 3: Turtles in timeOk, if I wasn't a turtle fan, I'd say pass on the movie. . . but it's got its nuggets of salvation, like, for instance, Raph's maturing, and realizing the dangers of his bad attitude, history of Japan, etc. . . costumes are kinda corny though (the turtles specifically) however, we get to see Casey Jones again, which is always a plus. For the price of this compilation, if you don't get it, you should be locked up. . . it's an awesome piece of history, and honestly, it was the turtles that started my love affair with the martial arts. I owe all my skill to the Creator God, however, I owe my initial interest in Leo, Donny, Raph, and Mikey!-Master Nyte, 4th dan (and oweing my first dive into martial arts to the turtles!)

The Turtles in a Hal-Shell are back ... in time

In 17th century Japan, four Samurai capture a man and bring him to "Lord Norinaga" (Sab Shimono). The "Lord" confronts his prisoner, and son "Kenshin" (Harry Hayashi), who is disgusted by his father's actions that brought them to war. As "Norinaga" is about strike his son down for disgracing him, English trader "Captain Dirk Walker" (Stuart Wilson) comes in to tell "Norinaga" that the rebels are about to attack.Fast forward three centuries to "The Big Apple" New York City, New York. The Ninja Turtles are in their sewar lair practicing their skills when their human friend "April O'Neil" (Paige Turco) comes to visit bareing gifts as a thank you for offering to watch her apartment while she is on vacation. "April" has brought "Master Splinter" (James Murray, who also supplies the voice) a strange scepter which begins to glow. In a flash, "April" disappears, and in her place, not to mention her clothes, is "Kenshin"."April" is found back in 17th century Japan in "Norinaga's" fortress, and is quickly captured by his guard. They begin to think she's a witch when strange sounds comes from a small box, her Walkman, that she drops to the floor. only "Capt. Walker" isn't fooled as she tries to take their belief to her advantage, and the guards take her away. Now "Leonardo" (Mark Caso, voiced by Brian Tochi), "Raphael" (Matt Hill, voiced by Tim Kelleher), "Donatello" (Jim Raposa, voiced by Corey Feldman) and "Michaelangelo" (David Fraser, voiced by Robbie Rist) must go back in time, save "April" and stop a war.The first thing you can't help but notice is the costumes and the associated animatronics. The "Turtles" are obviously rubber suits, and "Splinter" looks even more fake. However, the costumes move quite nicely, especially during the fast-paced martial arts fights. The martial arts fights are quick, and well choreographed. They are poorly edited together because there is just too much action. The fights are the only violence in the movie, and parents will be happy that not one drop of blood is shed. The performances are not even close to Oscar-worthy. The most fun performances are those who bring the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". The human performers, on the other hand, only do a fair job at delivering their lines. There is some character development with those introduced in this film. There isn't much, but just enough to advance the storylines. When it comes to scenery, there isn't much to look at. Most of the outdoor scenes are in wooded areas, and are not much to look at. The interiors are also not much to look at either. In fact, the interiors in "ancient Japan" didn't look very authentic in my opinion."Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III" is not "Gone with the Wind: ir another classic, but it is a fun movie. I suggest that you check this one out the next time you go to your local rental shop.

TMNT 1-3 review

This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3-Pak (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III) (DVD) The delivery of the product was fast and there was no damage to it anyway. The videos themselves were of great quality with nothing wrong with them at all. The quality and speedy care makes me want to buy from amazon more often.

This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3-Pak (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II - The Secret of the Ooze, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III) (DVD) 1st thing first... Great Service from Amazon.com. The package arrived early than expected. The movies are great... I showed to my small cousins and nephews, they love it and they never knew that TMNT has a movie, infact 3 movies.... they only new the cartoon series. It is timeless... new generation can enjoy it.The overall DVD package are not that great (lacked of features)... but the reason I bought the DVD mainly for the movies itself.I'm just wondering why the 1st movie DVD came in double sided disc??
